| Our classes are divided into two groups for teaching purposes: DRAGONS: 8 - 12 y.o. LIONS 13 - 18 y.o. Each group is also further divided into levels indicated by coloured sashes at the waist. After the first grading a student attains a white sash. As the student progresses a yellow sash is awarded, then green, blue, purple and red. Techniques are harder to master at the higher levels and forms are more complex but a student must also progress in maturity in order to become efficient in kung fu.
